[cobalt-users] eGroups type groupware suggestions?

For those of you familiar with what eGroups makes available (sort of an
online groupware that provides a message area, a calendar, online database
for contact and other info, page to enter relevant links, a chat area, and a
place to set-up your own group polling).

Is there any other software out there (open source would be nice of course!)
that comes close to this functionality?
