Can you really call it a manual? It is a disgrace. Totally unhelpful

Any help

If you are in europe ring 0031 715657000 Cobalt Europe.

It all seems much too complicated for me. As a digital electronics engineer
(not software) I have been running raq2 for some 8 months now, and
certainly some of the issues you raise we have met.

One thing is certain, if you have set the system up OK, whenthe name is
propagated to the net, it will become immediately active.

There are various tricks to see if the "outside world" is seeing you.

If you have registered your name with nominetuk try

dig @dns1.nic.uk soa domain (eg somecompany.co.uk)

if the server ns1 knows about it you are in with a chance, otherwise, there
is a problem.

if you are with some other "nic" similar procedures should work with a
modified instruction.

Another trick is to get an "ouside" agency in another country to try to
access your site. After all you must be able to see your own site yourself
on your own internal system whether or not you are visible to the outside
world.

If you ring Andrew Crane on +44 (0)14784494400 either he or his staff will
let you have the syntax for a French ISP which we use to see if the "world"
can see us.He may ask for a small support fee ($50 ish)
