Re: [cobalt-users] Cube2 Startup Question

Title: RE: [cobalt-users] Cube2 Startup Question
Well sort of.... (it helps me to talk about this because I've broken my "page with buttons" by ill advised editing - now I get _javascript_ errors). But the buttons are made with _javascript_ menuitem(i) type things and the links aren't obvious at all.......

I have exactly the same question as Paul

Paul,

You need to read a little bit further.  It states that if you change the first page, you will need to go to http://hostname.com/cobalt for the page with the buttons.

If you want to use the button that is already their, I would just copy it, create the link in the html and place it on your new page.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Cube2 Startup Question

I have installed my Qube2 and started Web and Discussion Services. I am now
looking at the Public Page wondering how I might change the pictures and
welcome message while keeping the navigation intact?

It mentions  This page can easily be replaced with your own page. To replace
this page, transfer your new content to the directory /home/groups/home/.
But how will I still use the navigation buttons that are already there? Does
this mean I will have to build a whole website to use Discussion Groups and
other features that are currently accessible under the Public Page?

thanks for help,
pault
