[cobalt-users] catch all address
- Subject: [cobalt-users] catch all address

A very perplexing problem.. just got off the phone with Cobalt techs and
they are looking into this, but I figured I'd pass it by you guys also.
Running a Raq3i
a number of users are present, some with aliases & a .forward file, some
with aliases & forwarding addresses
one user (me) is set up with the catch all in the aliases: @www.beautytech.com
when an email is sent to any user or alias, the mail does not go that user,
it ends up solely in my user box, the user or aliased user never receive
the mail
If I remove the catchall from my user, the mail goes to the intended
recipient(s) as it is supposed to. Mail addressed to a non-existing user or
alias gets bounced as user unknown
This holds true is the user has a forward in the modify in the GUI or a
.forward in the users root.
It was my understanding that the catchall was used to catch all mail sent
to that domain to any nonexistent user or alias, not that enabling the
catch all would ignore all users and aliases for that domain forcing all
mail into the user with the catchall..
any ideas here???
