RE: [cobalt-users] mass stats
I tried it. While, using the admin login and password gives me access to
the filesystem, it does not allow me to access the logs directory of the
virtual sites I have added. I have quite a few sites on my server that want
these reports and the only way I can access the log file is as an site
adminitrator login and password for that domain. Any ideas? Did I screw
up?

Michael:
If Webtrends is connecting to the server via ftp, you can have it log in
as 'admin' (using the admin password), and gain full access to the
filesystem. You do get dumped into /home/sites/home/users/admin, but
you can back out of that easily enough, or specify a filepath in the ftp
address (ftp.yourserver.com/home/sites/sitex/logs, for instance). I do
this all the time using my regular FTP app - we're currently running
FunnelWeb (great reports, but it's a memory hog) on my local machine for
stats. Other than the memory, it does a very nice job.
Good luck!
