Hi,
I have installed the patches that are on the Qube 2 page on the cobalt site:
All-Kernel_mips Release 1.0
Cobalt OS Release 4.0
Qube2-Security Release 2.0
Qube2-Security Release 2.1
Qube2-Security Release 2.2
Qube2-Security Release 2.3
Qube2-Security Release 2.7
Qube2-Update-OS Release 2.0
Qube2E-Infoplace Release 2.1
Since then (although it could be completely coincidental) the connection
speed to the internet is REALLY slow, it just seems to take ages to download
pages, and if you open multiple browser windows you often get server not
found messages.
I have plugged the modem into my PC and it works fine, normal speeds.
Question 1.) Have I installed too many patches?
Question 2.) How do I uninstall them if this is so. <grin>
Question 3.) Is there a way to check modem speed (remember I'm a Windows guy
not a Linux wiz)
Thanks,
Dave
