There's principle and there's good business sense.  I'd let someone else
pave the way on this one.

I noticed the same thing and thought at first that 123domains.com was a
domain name owned by Domain Bank and was surprised it wasn't considering
their affiliation with Domain Bank is not apparent.

I don't like those kind of margins.  Even with economies of scale it doesn't
seem that they'd be able to develop this into a profitable business.
Therefore I was worried the registration fees will be jacked up after the
initial registration period expires, but before the domain registrant's five
year commitment to do business with them has been fulfilled.  I registered a
few domain names with them yesterday anyway adn sure enough it was $24 for 2
years.  IMO, it's probable 123domains.com won't be in business 2+ years from
now so my commitment to continue my relationship with them may not be an
issue.
