Whether or not you choose to use it, you *can* use it instead of the web
based version. Hotmail eliminated their POP3 service recently,
(pop.hotmail.com stopped working a couple of weeks ago), as mail can be
retrieved from Hotmail using Outlook Express. Unfortunately, not using
Outlook2000.
