no.. i know for a fact my isp has mail.straylighttech.com pointing to my RaQ
ip.. as well as www.straylighttech.com , ftp, AND bbs..
i am starting to maybe see the problem is that i have DNS running on my raq
as well as at my ISP and that is causing the problem?

I was under the impression that all those records are on your RAQ. You need
to click on that Domain in the list. Delete the CNAME record and put in an A
record for mail.straylighttech.com. I don't see a record for
straylighttech.com -> IP address and IP address -> straylighttech.com
If all these DNS are on the RAQ, the setup in the Cobalt site should work.
