Distribution List problems!

Situation:
Qube 2 acts as mail server.
ISDN line to the Internet.
Qube 2 Is primary MX for the domain, secondary MX is the providers
Mailserver
Qube2 initiates mail retrieval with ETRN script.

Problem:
No matter how the mail gets to the Qube 2 server (direct or through ISPs
mail server Q ) when it is sent with an attachment to an mail list on qube
it is not delivered!

There is no NDR sent to the sender and receiver gets nothing.

ADMIN gets a message saying:

BOUNCE uros@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx:     Message too long (>40000 chars)
In the body of the message is the attachment in characters.
