Hello all,
I just received my new Cobalt RaQ3i I added 128 Mb of memory to the existing
64, and everything showed up correctly. I then added a 2nd Quantum Fireball
CX 13 GB hard drive(the exact same one that's already in the unit) for a
total of 26 GB of space.
Our theory was that we could name the 2nd drive "home2" and make nightly
backups of the original "home drive" and system configuration files to the
"home2".
The problem is that when we added the second drive to the unit and went to
the add storage screen as outlined in the manual, the system recognizes the
drive and gives us a screen to name it (we named it home2) and it appears to
format and partition the drive.
Then on the next screen, after the system does whatever it does, the active
storage shows the following drives:
home: 12 GB approx.
home: 12 GB approx.
home2: 12 GB approx.
Why does it show the home directory twice?
There are not three drives only 2.
I deactivated "home2 the drive" and the "second home drive" and tried to add
storage again and it did the same thing!!??!!
What does this mean?
Any help is very much appreciated. It appears that Cobalt site doesn't have
much info on the RaQ3 yet.
Thanks,
Robert Hughes
