Each user is suppose to have a unique name, which, if I read
the cobalt manual correctly, the user name is how the server
knows what directory bob has access to or if he has any
other priviledges.
If you're looking to have a "bob@" for an email address,
then first create each unique "bob" account, as in
"bobjones@xxxxxxx" and bobsmith@xxxxxxx". Then create an
alias "bob" for he two different domain names and forward
each "bob's" email to the respective user POP account.
If I'm wrong on this, someone please correct me. You know
how vague the cobalt manual is on most technical issues!

Subject: [cobalt-users] duplicate user names
Is there any way to allow duplicate user names within
different domains?
For example, is there anyway to have an email address of
bob@xxxxxxx and
bob@xxxxxxx and have them be different accounts? Am I
asking the
impossible? Seems odd that a certain domain cannot add a
username just
because some other unknown domain is already using it. Any
input is
appreciated. thanks.
