Why on earth did you transfer your customer base before you had physical
possession
of the cash? Just about any commercial bank can provide escrow services for
asset transfers.

Subject: [cobalt-users] re: For Sale Raq 2s
I was approached by Tony Gorkoff about 5 months ago, he wanted to purchase
my customer base from me, at that time it was around 300 users. We signed
the agreement and waited for the day for him to deposit the money into my
bank account. After the agreement was signed, we went ahead and moved all
300 customers to his servers, which he is now selling. I started seeing
complaints from my clients after the move, the servers were slow, always
crashing, on average they were up about 40% of the time. Support went
unanswered for upwards of 10 days.
This man Tony, was running everything from his laptop in Canada. I expressed
my concerns with him on why he didn't have tech support users, billing and
the normal company location, His answer was he was moving into a new
location. He didn't even know his own fax number so I could fax him a copy
of the agreement. After 2 weeks of not getting my money. Tony seemed to drop
of the face of Canada. I did get hold of him a few times and he said that he
got robbed and that he couldn't do the transfer of the funds without id. I
told him to write me a check. Two days later, his cell phone, company phone
and fax were mysteriously disconnected. Unable to get ahold of him, and at
this point my users were without a homepage, I did the only thing I could
do, contact my clients and move them to our own servers.
As of today, his servers are still down. Sure its a good deal for the
servers, but if you don't mind getting screwed over from this man who is
nothing short then a cheat and fraud, its a great deal for these two servers
he is selling. Its your choice, I am just making you aware of this mans
business practices and how he can mysteriously disappear from the earth
after two days. As of today, I still have never gotten ahold of him.

I am curious to why you would say this--and I think you are probably going
to have to explain why you think this.
Thanks,
