Permission denied would indicate that the file is not executable. Try chmod
555 filename. However I doubt that the binary will work anyways, It will
probably core dump as I am sure it is for the Intel Platform.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Darwin Streaming Server 2.0
Hello,
Has anyone been able to install the new Darwin Streaming Server 2.0 on a
RaQ2 or RaQ3? The site mentions:
Darwin Streaming Server 2.0 now features "ready-to-use" binaries for three
platforms:
FreeBSD (server)
Linux (server and proxy) (aka RedHat Linux 5.2)
Solaris (server and proxy)
This is equivalent to QuickTime Streaming Server 2 for Mac OS X Server.
http://www.publicsource.apple.com/projects/streaming/
I've downloaded the Linux version on my raq2 and get a "permission denied"
when trying to run the server... I wonder if this is due to the MIPS nature
of the Raq2 or if I'm missing something else.
This new version of DSS is VERY powerful, & if we could get it to run on the
RaQs it would be a very convenient & inexpensive solution for people doing
live or recorded streaming (QT4 is much better solution than anything from
Real).
If anyone with a raq3 has tested this new ready-to-use version, please
forward your comments to the list. Thanks.
