Anything that makes it more difficult to hack, is worth doing.
We sit behind a pretty tight connection, but the b****rds still got us -
a flood ping attack starting Friday night filled up the /var partition
and had stopped the server doing its business (e.g. accepting mail)
by Monday morning.

<envy> Here in Jolly Olde England the best deal for a 64K leased line is
about 4K pounds per year - that's about 500 US dollars a month. But it
is "real" bandwidth. (Cable modems don't count). </envy>
