I remember that we had this working once about 2 years ago on a Slackware
Machine and NT Server 4. So it can be done. I don't know if you need smbd
up and running, but I believe that smbmount and smbmnt both use the same
configuration from the samba.conf. So it is kind of dependent on the same
configuration. I might give this a shot myself and let you know if I get
anywhere.
Whoops--I don't run a NT Domain anywhere anymore, so I guess I can't really
try to duplicate your settings. I'll look into it a little bit, however,
and let you know if I uncover anything.
