Well -- I'm confused on what you're asking.

NIS is for use with Solaris networks.

If you want file sharing between NT and your RaQ2 -- use
Samba instead of NFS.  

Telnet into your RaQ2 -- type 'man smb.conf' and read 
to make sure you understand what you need.  su to root
and edit /etc/smb.conf then run /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start
