Aaarrghhhhhh!!!!!!  Thankyou Doug for bringing this to my attention.

I do not recall any mention of this in the last week's x-hundred messages.

It is for these updates that I subscribe to this list - I'm not 
terribly interested in a lot of what passes through here and it 
is getting to take up too much of my time, even if I just skim 
through the bulk of the mail.

Can we either have a separate "announce" list or could updates 
be flagged with "COBALT ANNOUNCE" (sic) or something?  Please?
