Win98 will not matter in the least, as you will not be booting into 
windows.. You simply need pop in the Cobalt upgrade CD, and then boot up 
your laptop, which will boot into Linux off the CD.. Follow the 
instructions and plug a cross over cable from your laptops nic card to 
your RaQ, then turn on the RaQ and hold the two left and right arrow 
buttons down at the same time as it starts up.. This will cause it to 
netboot.  If it works, the RaQ LCD will prompt you for the type of 
install/raq model.  Keep in mind that the netboot process, while quick, 
may take a bit to prompt for the type of install. Also, there are a very 
limited number of NIC cards supported for this type of install, so it may 
not work.  We have found the Netgear FA310TX 10/100 PCI Card to be the 
best card for the job.
