Subject: [cobalt-users] smtp rejecting mail
Hi all,
We haven't made any changes but during the afternoon of 1/18/00,
our smtp stopped working altogether.
People with mail accounts get a message saying
"The server did not recognize the repients.
The server returned "not local host (whoever).com, not
gateway."
In other words, they cant send mail to anybody not also an account on
the box.
This is an emergency situation to us, as none of our small (but
important to us) email lists are working and our few dial up
customers can not send email. the pop is working fine.
Anybody have any clues what might have caused this and/or how to fix?
Thanks.
