[cobalt-users] Re; Weird FTP Access

We are having the same problem as mentioned below.  All users that log in
via FTP on a particular machine only have access to their
/users/usersname/web directory.  They can't go up directories even using a
"ChgDir, ../..web" command.  It seems to have gotten progressively worse as
well.

The delay usually is DNS reverse-lookup...
Do you have your users machines set up in DNS? And also in the reverse
database?
