I don't understand what is so difficult to have someone use the ui to add an alias. It's a pretty rudimentary thing and how every host I have ever
been with has done it (I believe cuz it's the only way). I have over 60 virtual hosts with various siteadmin's on my box and no one has any trouble
adding users and aliases.
Are you asking for a custom script that will allow someone to add the alias without knowing that they are adding the alias? I think if you explain to
people why they need to alias, no one will have a problem with it. I have not run into any resistance with well over 120 users on my box, once the
understand why it had to be an alias. Most folks seem pretty reasonable about this.
