Hi Group,
I'm curious - I'm in the process of setting up a new RaQ3i from dN - it
should be up and running by mid-week. But I noticed several posts to this
group over the last week regarding providers giving end users access to the
site admin section of Cobalt and/or Telnet access to their accounts. I
noticed a few comments along the line: "as long as they never figure out
their on a Cobalt system - it should be okay".
My question: Why would it matter if a customer finds out their on a Cobalt
system? We've actually been designing our revised site (promotions) around
the very fact that we *do* offer Cobalt systems to house our user's
ata. -But- we don't plan on giving them site admin access, but certainly
access to their Personal Profile setting (page). The Telnet question is
still up in the air, maybe to those customers who want to spend a little
extra $$ to off-set the risks involved.. (I'm personally getting tired of
giving all these end user $12/mo accounts everything but the moon, for
little in return.) :)
Thanks for any input, insight into this question. The comments I monitored
regarding the end user's finding out their on a Cobalt box got my attention.
Thanks again!
Craig Napier
