Hello, all!
I am having a problem accessing the siteadmin site for my virtual sites. I
set up the virtual site, and then the DNS. When i go to
http://ipaddress/personal, the page loads fine (it also loads when I click
on the link to that site on the placeholder page). When I try to do
http://ipaddress/siteadmin, it does not load. I called Cobalt about this,
and they said once my DNS was setup right (which is is now) things should
work fine. I already know about going to
http://ipaddress/.cobalt/siteManage/www.domain.com/index.html to access the
siteadmin page, but I was told by Cobalt that I shouldnt have to wait till
DNS propagates to access the siteadmin via http://ipaddress/siteadmin, and
that it should work now. However, it does not!
Does anyone have any idea how I can let my users imediately access their
account via http://ipaddress/siteadmin?
And as long as we are on the siteadmin thing, I noticed no one answered a
few postings that were made recently about the danger of siteadmin access to
the end user. Anyone have any feelings on this? Is it really a bad idea to
give siteadmin acccess to the end user?
Regards,
David Harris
