[cobalt-users] Connecting Raq2 to external RAID

We have a few Raq2 machines here.  We have have recently accquired a new NT
server which has a built in RAID level 5 system.  I would like to have my
data that is on the Raqs to be stored on the RAID system for backup/safety
reasons (better than having the data on a single IDE drive).  I was toying
with two different ideas.  One being Samba.  The other being NFS.  I tried
to get Samba up and running on one of the raq but had no luck.  I then tried
to get a NFS Server running on our NT machine and then connecting to that
with the raq.  That worked fine.  Are there any performance/security issues
that I should be aware of if I choose to go with the NFS solution?  Also,
has anyone successfully setup a raq2 to join a NT domain using Samba?
