We are moving to CentralAd 4 which is more flexible/powerful and has nice
reporting features. CentralAd is compiled and thus gives much less overhead
to the system. Obviously WebAdverts is a very nice software given its price
and there is actually not much real competition in this segment.

Going back to yesterday's CPU overload, it is clear that it was ignited by a
WebAdverts (ads.pl) problem; probably to many calls to the script. But the
bulk of the overload was due to the RaQ's monitoring functions overreacting
so to speak with 99.9% of CPU usage by 'syslogd'.
