I ran dmesg on my RaQ2. At the end of the output I get:
Unable to load interpreter ## this line appears here 5 times ##
Warning: possible SYN flood from 12.4.158.150 on IP1:25. Sending cookies.
Unable to load interpreter ## this line appears here 39 times ##
Warning: possible SYN flood from IP2 on IP2:3306. Sending cookies.
IP1 and IP2 are 2 IP addresses on my server and ## <--> ## represent my
notes. I did a traceroute on 12.4.158.150 and it can't get past hop 17
(12.127.212.66 ).
A little green here. What is a SYN flood? Port 3306 is for MySQL so I am
pretty sure it was the result of a query from a webpage on a site of mine.
I have no idea what 12.4.158.150 is, but IP1 is on a very low traffic site
with one email account I control, but don't use.
