RE: [cobalt-users] help with webtrends

Ernest,

WebTrends uses 2 logins, the first to get the logs and then the second to upload the reports and graphics. I used the main admin login to get the logs then used
a site-specific 'stats-user' to upload the reports. The stats directory on the virtual site needs to be chowned to the permissions of the 'stats-user' you create for that
site. (make sure it's in the /web directory)

Subject: [cobalt-users] help with webtrends

Hello,
Has anyone ever setup Webtrends on a Raq2.  I am having problems with the permissions for the directories.  I cannot "get" or "put"t any of the log file information.  I have a user setup for webtrends to gain access to the logs directory.  This is so I don't have to use my clients username/password (security reasons).
Any suggestions

Thanks in advance,
Ernest
