Dan, there is a grevious error in your conclusion. The method you describes actually GIVES the site administrators the possibility
to create users with critical usernames just as "support" or whatever. What I want to say is that the site administrators can easily
delete the existing users (that you setup for them before sending them their account information) and create new users with new
usernames.

Even the solution only to initially only allow one user won't work. The site administrator could just delete this user and new one
with a different username.
