Yes, I used the Dns Telecom pkg file.  As I recall, it worked pretty well
after installation with little or no configuration.

Not sure what you're asking.  In general I only monitor logs when I have a
problem.  I think they are all in /var/log or /home/sites/siteX/logs.

My Webalizer is executed in cron.daily by a cron job that pulls data from
/var/log/httpd/combined-access, which is easier on the admin side than
pulling data from the site access files, but slower and more memory
intensive.

Is your server getting a lot of traffic or constantly running a lot of
programs?  When you run "top" what do your load averages look like and what
do they look like when you run webalizer.cron and get the low memory
warning?
