[cobalt-users] Manual Apache conf edits

Hello,
     Since the cobalt GUI will rewrite httpd.conf, resulting in the lose of
manual modifications, it has been suggested by the list to include another file
that contains the custom modifications....I was curious as to the advantage of
including another configuration file, why not just add the entries to one of the
other 2 conf files ( srm.conf or access.conf ), or do they get overwritten as
well?
