Nope. If you don't change the file ownerships from the default (root?) then
they won't be able to edit them BUT then frontpage will complain like crazy
like it did before, but if you do all I said, they'll be able to change the
file, but FrontPage won't complain.
How about putting the stats files in a different location (virtualhost)? For
instance you could either have one huge stats servers and each user in
seperate directories (with no index so others can't see others without
knowing the full path)
Or if you were feeling adventurous you could edit httpd.conf (if this is
RaQ2 you'll need to use the Include line I sent a few hours ago to someone
else to allow custom changes) and define a: http://stats.domain.com/ which
could have their personal stats in there. You could .htaccess it (password
protect) or whatever. But that's upto you.
Sorry I wasn't much help.

Neil,
Thanks for the absolutely awesome help. I still have some questions,
though.....

Yes, that's correct. Sorry if this wasn't clear.

Yes, and that is my problem. I want Frontpage to work with the virtual sites
that have this /stats directory, but I don't want my
clients to be able to change this directory or the files in there in any
way.........
Is it possible to do this?
Many thanks!
Fathi
