there is nothing here for unsubscribing from this list.

Yes there is, James. Scroll down to the bottom. You'll see the following:

| To change your subscription (set options like digest and
| delivery modes, get a reminder of your password, or unsubscribe
| from cobalt-users), enter your subscription email address:

Then, below that, there's a box for you to insert your email address, and an "Edit Options" button. Try it. It'll take you to a web-page where you can unsubscribe.

You should tell
people that when someone subscribes that they are going to get every message
posted.

Why else would you join an email list, if not to get the messages? Perhaps you don't have any experience with email lists? If not, then a question about how they work will elicit some answers. Some of us are actually in the email-list business, and will be happy to direct you to webpages where you can learn all about them.

I don't need to have 25 to 30 messages sent to me every 8 hours.

You could join the 'digest' version, and get only one email with lots of posts. Generally this saves about a third of the bandwidth and disk space, by doing away with a lot of duplicated header information.

Please remove me from your list, or tell me how to do.

Sorry, we're list-members, we can't do it. But we can tell you how to do it, and I just did.

Again, there is nothing at this link to unsubscribe from this list.

Again, there is <smile>.
