James,
I am the reverse, residng in Australia with RaQs in the US.
Really, I don't see that there will be any issues. It may a good idea to
disable your Time Server connection during that time, but other than that,
unless you have software which perform 6 digit 00/00/00 date calculations
instead of the 8 digit 00/00/0000, then I can't imagine what trouble there
would be.
The Linux OS has always been an 8 digit date system, so you would actually
need to be using software which intentionally strips the 5th &6th digits
from it.
Personally, I won't be expecting any probs with our machines, more than
likely it will be the networks which have any problems.
