[cobalt-users] remote file sharing

I am wondering if the following is possible/advisable:

I am running a local LAN with several Win98 clients and a RH6.1 server using
SAMBA to share files (new version works great!). This is at our location in
Japan. We also have a Cobalt RaQ2 server co-located in the U.S. (hosted by
SageNetworks) Is it possible to link the remote server with our local server
to share files without using the dreaded FTP.. I realize there might be some
security risks in doing this, but I am fairly certain it can be done with
UNIX.. it's just I don't even know where to begin .. I'm willing to RTFM,
but could someone please tell me which FM to R...

Thanks.
