Are you

Neither. I'm just analyzing a situation.

If you get an email from your domain to your domain, and it's something you can't figure out where it came from, since (imho) there are many more viruses going around than there are systems being hacked, it's more likely you've got a virus than that you've been hacked.

From the original post it's not possible to determine if the email came directly from the RaQ or from the user's email client on his (possibly Windows) desktop system. There are a lot of viruses going around that affect Windows systems in such ways as to send email from a user at a domain to the same user at the same domain. And the dearth of viruses for Linux doesn't rule out a virus, since one could have infected the (again, possibly Windows) desktop system.
