Re: [cobalt-users] RaQ2 Allaires Coldfusion beta for linux

Ok........I've been staring at the subject of this email for about 20
minutes now.....

Allaire's beta for linux is just that.......a beta for linux.

I hate to sound like not only Cobalt's tech support but every tech
support.........but if you are looking to void your warranty/down your
sever/frustration beyond belief....for a beta of a product which is a long
shot of a deal on linux.....go for it!

Ok.....who cares about the warranty when the name of the game is "staying
ahead of your competition", right? I know I certainly don't!.............
BUT what not everyone realizes is how $$$profitable and how much $$$u save,
and how $$$easy Cobalt'$ out of the box solution is worth. Use it as the
tool for what it is.........a hosting/email/ftp workhorse.....

Focus your energy on that fundamental........and before you know it, you'll
discover
a. investing in Cobalt's product, using it for what it's for.....you've made
your money back several times over.......and darn we're good at
hosting!.....
b. the above is all that counts! THANK YOU COBALT!

Because that is what Cobalt is all about............if you can manage one
site....you can manage one server........manage one server (with stability)
you've now got 5 stable servers.....all doing the same thing......getting
the job done.

Now........for the people who got in to a Raq as their first linux, or even
first server period! Before you end up in the poor house with no
friends.......b/c you took your one best shot at the big leagues, and now
your anthem is "Broke the Blue Box Blues".......GO BACK UP AND READ A. and
B.!

Linux is still free (yes even Red Hat), download it....get it from
RedHat....or cdrom.com....I can even give it to you! GET IT! and as many
on this list have suggested......put it on any old PC...even on a hard drive
partition....play with it....break it...fix it....install beta after beta on
it.....if you like it......go live with it!

re-read items a. and b. .

Happy Holidays and hope to be able to still email everyone next year!
