Ahoy
Outlook Express with IE4 or IE5 works fine for everyone in our organization.
Simply checking the "Requires Authorization" box works flawlessly every
time. No trouble running these clients. And, considering its market share,
it had better be able to work, or you will have irate clients on the phone
all day.
Outlook, on the other hand, the Office app, I have not messed with for
years. But I remember it was mostly vaporware when I first saw it.
I installed popb4smtp from the Cobalt site easy as pie. But I had to
re-start the email server several times before it took. Everything downhill
since then (knock wood).
