Re: [cobalt-users] New raq questions!

Rob-

I have been there so I know exactly how you feel.

I would suggest you have at least two IP addresses and if you are going
to be running Primary and Secondary DNS from the same box then you will
have to have two IP addresses.

When you set-up a new site it will ask for the IP address of the site.
You can use one IP addresses for each site and or have a differnet IP
address for each site. It does not matter much now as virtual hosting
has become a very efficient way of using one IP address from many
domains.

In order to run both Primary and Secondary DNS you will need two IP
addresses. Go to the DNS in the GUI of the RaQ2 and create two address
records. They can be anything you want the DNS servers to be named like
NS.DOMAIN.COM and NS1.DOMAIN.COM and point one of them to your first IP
address and the other to your second IP address.

Then go the Net Sol's host registration form and submit the two DNS
servers. The IP address you set in the GUI is the IP address you tell
them.

Don't we all... It all comes in due time and the best way to learn is
hands on experience, but make sure not to touch anything that you are
not totally sure about without having a back-up.
