I didn't know that, but to be honest I didn't want to experiment. Fear of
locking myself out was all too great and our RaQ is co-located so it's not
like I could easily lug out the harddisk... ;-(

Yes. I've got the latest version of SSH1 running no problems (1.2.27?) Just
download from ftp.ssh.fi (from memory) and install from source and there's
no problems at all. I don't know about version 2 though
