We are having lots of problems connecting with an external Zoom 56kflex
modem. It has to dial several times before it actually can talk to our ISP
(each time it dials the TR light comes on and disconnects the modem). After
four or five times it will finally stop disconnecting but will not connect
to the ISP - the TR light does not come on and the Qube continues to
indicate that it is not connecting - we've tried different initialization
strings, have double checked with our ISP and have also called Cobalt tech
support who have attempted to be helpful but have provided no solution. I'm
at wits end with this and we need to get this Ironed out right away - any
ideas?
