After wrestling with many problems in Majordomo on my RaQ2 I backed up
/usr/local/majordomo/lists/, grabbed version 1.94.4 off of
http://www.greatcircle.com/majordomo/, installed it and then configured it
using instructions on
http://o2.towery.com/~ernestm/admin/majordomo/majorvirt.html.

This configuration is for virtual domains which is something the Cobalt
configuration didn't allow. Said more simply, the configuration I am using
allows for the following two lists on the same Cobalt server:
mylist123@xxxxxxxxxxx and mylist123@xxxxxxxxxxx and admin emails sent from
majordomo use the proper virtual domain name instead of using the server
name. I imagine this would be of use to some of you. This is accomplished
by having a separate majordomo configuration file for each virtual domain
using majordomo, separate list directories and records in virtusertable and
aliases to route mail coming into the different majordomos and mailing
lists. I have not yet implemented digests or archiving and I have not run
under this configuration with a large enough load to know what else I might
expect, but it does work and it has worked fine so far.

If anyone is interested in what I have done I will be glad to post my
directory structures, contents of aliases and virtusertable, and whatever
else is needed. I'd even tar and pack everything relevant and make it
available somewhere - I's just have to clean it up first.
