Will described the proper way, but it all depends on the package. You can
usually not back out of an OS update package as it might contain an kernel
upgrade, or a libc update. If you delete those packages your machine won't
start up again after a reboot. Another example are my SSL-servers, the
admin-server can be backed out, but I don't want anybody to do it if you
try you delete the only program which gives you the User Interface. The
SSL-server is another story, it has nothing to do with the basic services
of a Cobalt product, so that package can be uninstalled by
using Wills uninstaller-directory.
