My understanding when I last spoke with Cobalt was that you could not upgrade the 2700 box to a Qube 2. The hardware changes were significant. As of a few months ago they also said that there was no way to upgrade the software as a package. If you want to install the packages individually after downloading them yourself that was possible. This was not the answer that my customers wanted .

It would be great if Cobalt decided to have a software upgrade for the Qube 2700 box to get the functionality of the Qube 2 but in my discussions with them they didn't sound very enthusiastic about the idea.
