Joe,
Yeah, try being the owner of click.com... Beside the hail of spam (mostly
firewalled, thank you) we get, we get the same crap from people signing
up for something using a forged @click.com address. You would think these
companies would filter out the bounced emails from their lists. New York
Times and Microsoft are the worst offenders. Nobody wants to verify the
email addressee as the one who signed up before sending out their
"helpful notices." We finally had to firewall the New York Times and
Microsoft domains. What a true waste of time.
Anyway, anybody have any more tips on sendmail configuration to block
out/filter this crap or tracking down the guilty?
