Think outside Nth America.  Not everyone has cheap data access.  Some per 
per minute, some per Mb, some a combination of both.   Broaden your horizons

But you fail to answer, Who "WANTS" to read/use HTML mail??
I certainly can, but I certainly don't want to.  THere are many more who do 
not want to, just because you can, doesn't mean it is the way to 
go.  Again, broaden your horizons.

But it is STANDARD...   Get it ????
You are sending an EMAIL, not writing a thesis.  So why do you need to 
alter the type, make it bold or fancy colours??   Just type what you have 
to say and get on with it.  If you want to use HTML, write a web page. If 
you want to emphasise something that email cannot get across, use the phone 
or some other method.

Keep email plain, it is nice that way.
