It's not a bug.
DIALD need to send the network-packets you want to send to the Internet
somewhere to catch it to open the phoneline...
So, they define a virtual net 192.168.0 sets your defaultgateway to an
address there and then scans the packets destined for that network.
When it get's one it starts dialing and sets up your PPP-link.
Straightforward and easy. Cobalt could have choosen any valid or
non valid network-number, BUT, for someone it would probably clash anyway,
so, in this case you got cought... If they had used 10.0.0 someone else
might have clashes, or if they had used 192.168.1 I would have to renumber
at home...
No problem, live with it, and use DHCP, which means it's a no brainer to
renumber! :)
