Does this also keep the URL as the site name? So it appears that it is on
your site? An A record Does.

Manuel,
CName / Alias entry should do.
Example:
www.alias.com pointing to www.website.com
It works fine with my server, and you don't have to setup a virtual site or
anything, just add this cname and it should work.
