Mail
(highlight the account in question)
Properties
Servers


Now look down at the bottom --- click the checkbox  named Outgoing Mail
Server, where it says "My server requires authentication". As soon as you do
that, a button enables, which will lead you to an even more complete
dialogue.

Geeks like to bash Bill. But he has the best stuff. And its ubiquity is the
best part of it.
