Tim,

You might be running into a Cobalt quota issue. See who owns the files
with this command:

ls -l /var/lib/mysql

You might want to make sure all the files are owned by root and not
users, so quotas can be bypassed.

chown -R root:root /var/lib/mysql/databasename

Or are you trying to put more that 2 Gigabytes into a single table?
It could be an OS restriction.
